Raising Funds for AIRR – Supporting our KC Immigrant Community Members

I have joined forces with Advocates for Immigrant Rights and Reconciliation (AIRR) and local artist Chico Sierra to help raise awareness and support for our Kansas City immigrant community members. 100% of the donations made in this fundraiser will go to AIRR-KC! Here’s more information about the fundraiser, photo sessions and AIRR.

It’s super easy to help, and the sessions are fun (at least I think so ;)!

When you sign up for a photo session with me there will be a space for you to list how much you want to donate. Your donation gets you the following:

  • A 15 minute session with me
  • You pick your 3 favorite images from the session
  • You download them before you leave
  • This gets you full usage rights to share as you wish

Your photo will be taken on this beautiful, powerful, hand-painted mural by local artist Chico Sierra entitled Power and Migration. Watch this video to learn more about what this mural means to him.

To sign up, just click on this link. You will see Saturday’s in September available. If you cannot do any of those times, no worries! Just email me, and we will find a time that works.

My gallery below is an example of the kind of photos we can do, and I am open to your ideas as well! Keep reading to learn more about AIRR-KC, and I hope to see you in the studio! – xomo
