I’ve been looking forward to Catie + Steven’s wedding ever since their fun filled (literally; there was time spent at the Zoo, getting Ice Cream & fun times in a Record Store — that spells fun in my book!) engagement session.
We met them and their awesome possé at an adorable Air BnB just a few blocks away from KCAI. I LOVED that their nearest and dearest friends could all stay with them in the same place, help each other get ready, and that Catie got to give her friends their own first look before seeing Steven. The balcony was the perfect place for their crew to watch Catie and Steven see each other for the first time; and the back patio was basically a tree house, surrounded by the most vibrant yellow leaves.
Catie surprised Steven with a Tesla Model X which was used as their transportation for the evening. #baller
And after a quick jaunt around Liberty Memorial we all headed to The Monarch Room for one helluva party. If the parents of the couple and their friends are the first ones rushing to the dance floor, you know it’s gonna be a good time.
Did I mention they did donuts instead of cake? DONUTS! 🙂
Catie and Steven: it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you both. You two are so much fun to be around, and the company you keep is top notch. Thank you for letting us document this chapter in your life, I sincerely hope our paths cross again in the future. Xomo
