So, just a forewarning. . this one is image heavy. I just couldn’t help myself. First of all, this was a destination wedding, so we covered a lot more than just the wedding day. Secondly, when you book a beautiful venue, with a gorgeous couple and some of the most amazing food you’ll ever see at a wedding, your image count is gonna be high.
So where to begin? You’ll probably remember Terrence and Ashley from their intimate Loose Park & At Home engagement session. These two were a dream in front of the camera, so that made me really excited for their wedding day. I can’t stress enough, on how important an engagement session is. It’s kind of like a first date for the four of us, you’ll get to see how we work and we’ll also get a little bonding time in. Which will in turn, make it feel like we’re old friends at that point; and you’ll be so much more relaxed in front of the camera on the wedding day. This is why I offer a complimentary engagement session in most of my packages.
Terrence and Ashley were very fortunate to have so many amazing family and friends help with their wedding. Terrence’s sister and brother-in-law; Jeanna & Darrell Jackson own Monarch Hill Vineyards in Sainte Genevieve, MO. It was so incredibly beautiful out there. It was one part work, but definitely one part relaxing get away. With the help of their sons, and countless other family members (thankfully Terrence is one of ten siblings!) Jeanna & Darrell were able to transform their equipment barn into a gorgeous and romantic reception barn.
Did I mention our lodging included three rescue tigers? So random, but also so cool. We literally slept less than 100 yards from three beautiful rescued tigers at the Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary. Click the link to learn more about those precious creatures.
Well, you’re gonna have a whole lotta eye candy to drool over, so I’ll wrap it up here. THANK YOU – THANK YOU – THANK YOU to the entire Moore/Jackson families, especially Jeanna, Darrell, Warfield and Rollin. Your hospitality totally blew me away. Thank you for making us feel like family. To Terrence and Ashley, thank you SO much for taking such good care of us, and for allowing us this awesome opportunity to document your wedding weekend. It was one of the most beautiful events of my career, and I feel so lucky to not only be able to call you my clients, but also my friends. Can we do this again next year? Love, Morgan

I thought this was so cool, Terrence lead the guests from the farm, through the vineyards to the Church.
Instead of vows, the couple chose to read aloud letters to each other. It was very touching and super emotional — I don’t think there was a dry eye in attendance.
