Anyone that knows me, knows that I love dogs, especially brachycephalic pups — that’s a fancy way of saying smooshed in faces. When Brooke and Justin told me they had a French Bulldog named Kacie (she’s named after our awesome city and our soccer team — Brooke and Justin are huge Sporting KC fans) and that they were going to bring her to the session, I couldn’t wait. I mean how could you not adore this little face.

Brooke and Justin met us at the dog park in the City Market where we let Kacie lead the way.

Have I mentioned how much I love our Streetcar? It’s totally changed the way we do engagement sessions. We spend a lot more time exploring and we don’t have to worry about finding a parking spot.

Brooke and Justin really wanted to have a nighttime session, which totally is our cup-o-tea. And special thanks to Anton’s for letting us spend most of our session at their place. Have you seen their back patio? They have a really cool water wall:










Not to mention, twinkly lights for days…(err, nights).




They even have an elevated patio, I refer to it as the crow’s nest. . but that’s just me. 😉



And finally, inside they have a room available for small events; perfect for a rehearsal dinner. . and hello?! Have you seen their menu? Your guests will leave with happy bellies no matter their dietary needs.






Last but not least they are right on the Streetcar line, so super convenient.
