Tara & Scott have been absolute dream clients. . . for example. Day of the wedding I arrive, start shooting details and then I ask Tara what she envisioned for her 1st Look with Scott. She turned to me and said “Where ever the light is best” I was stopped in my tracks, because no bride previously has ever replied with that. I think I may have even told her I loved her. LOL. I bring this up, because it’s so vital to trust your wedding day professionals. I have been in the industry for 14 years, not to toot my own horn, but I’ve seen a lot, the good, the bad, the ugly; and I want the best for my clients. And Tara knew that. And that’s why I love her. LOL.
Tara and Scott couldn’t of had a better day if they tried. The weather was perfect, the location was beautiful, and the couple were on cloud nine all day. I loved watching the two of them interact with each other, sharing little looks that they didn’t think anyone else saw (they call me, Ole’ Eagle Eyes)
Tara hired a great team to help with her day, starting with the stellar staff at Longview Mansion. White Carpet Bride had her looking fly all day, and that gown from Altar Bridal — OMG it was gorgeous. I’ll list out a full roll call below.

Thank you Tara & Scott for an amazing day! It has been an absolute joy to get to know you two better. This is where I usually write, I hope our paths cross again in the future, but I have a feeling that’s going to be a no-brainer. 😉
Hello Longview, it’s been a while — you’re as gorgeous as I remember you being! And their bridal suite!! Oh, how I wish I could clone it to other venues.
I must pause and comment on how amazing these customized beer steins are! Characters of each one of their groomsmen. Hysterical!
“Up!” For the win! So here’s another cute little tidbit from the day. Tara forgot to get “special” earrings, and Scott forgot to get “special” cufflinks to complete their outfits. Guess what they randomly got each other for wedding day gifts?! You guessed it, cufflinks and earrings.
Their first look was deffinatley one for the “Adorable Record Books” Look at Scott’s reaction! <3
This is one of my favorite shots of the day. Scott was always there to lend a hand (or two) to Tara. Eventually he resorted to just carrying her everywhere because it was faster. . I mean, more adorable. 😉
It’s always a plus when good friends are guests! Mindi and Chad, I swear you two are vampires. . you don’t look a day over 25. How is possible you have 4 kids? 😉
This was a new first for me. Never in my 14 years of doing this have I ever experienced anyone getting iced. . apparently I was the last person on Earth to experience this, but whatever. This was hilarious. . and I can’t believe Scott chugged an entire 24 oz. of Smirnoff Ice.
