Rebekah & Ty :: Downtown Kansas City Engagement

Rebekah & Ty wanted to stick close to home for their engagement session, and we happily obliged — Look at that view! I really love it when clients want to do part of their session in their home. Engagement sessions are sometimes one of the only instances when people have professional photos taken of themselves — that can be a little awkward for some. So by starting in a familiar place, already makes people a little more at ease. Not gonna lie. . . a little liquid courage can do the trick as well. 😉

Another advantage of starting in their house is that we could to add in their fur baby. After a quick ride on the Street Car we finally got to shoot at the Rooftop Park in PNL — check that off my bucket list.
Thank you Rebekah & Ty — you guys were total naturals in front of the camera! We had such a fun time with you two and we can’t wait for your wedding later this year at The Bauer!

  1. Congratulations from Oregon. We thank you for sharing all the great KC photos with us and wish we lived closer so we might be able to attend a wedding some day. But not at our age.
