Jess and Rachel now live in KC, but met during their college days in Lawrence. Jess worked as a barista at Z’s Divine Espresso, and Rachel would often come in, sit at the bar and keep Jess company while she worked. The little coffee shop seemed like a great place to start their engagement session.
From there we made our way down Mass, but first look at this beautiful spot Rachel found — gotta love an ivy covered alley! Good eye, lady!
We made a quick pit stop at Liberty Hall, where the gals have seen countless performances during their courtship together . 🙂
The last stop was to make our way over to a giant mural. . . but sometimes during a session, we need to go to where the good light is, and so we followed it around The Eldridge, then to the Library then finally to the mural. Whenever possible, always take the scenic route. 😉
Lastly, we went to one of the gals favorite spots: The Dusty Book Shelf. This is Dinah, the shop’s mascot and resident cat.
Thank you Jess & Rachel for being such fun and excellent tour guides! We can’t wait for your brunch wedding in the Spring! xomo
